Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, 15th October 2024 – DIADEM Malaysia hosted an exciting official launch event, marking a new chapter for pickleball enthusiasts across the country. The event took place with special appearances from key figures in both the sports and entertainment industries. Among the honored guests were Mr. AJ Bartlett, Co Founder and Director of Sales & Marketing of DIADEM, and Mr. Tan and Mr. Alan, Managing Director of Universal Sports, DIADEM's official distributor in Malaysia and Singapore.
The event also welcomed Goh Liu Ying, Malaysia’s badminton silver medalist at the 2016 Rio Olympics, as well as Colin Wong, Malaysia's current No.1 pickleball player. Additionally, Hanson Lee, a certified IPTPA Level 1 pickleball coach, joined to share his expertise, while the evening was made even more lively with appearances from 8FM radio DJs Hana & Loh and 8TV & TV Homeshopping Wowshop hosts Jan Chin, Shin Kong, Kah Chee, Melissa, and Emerson, and celebrity chef Dato' Fazley Yaakob, adding star power to the celebration.
Guests enjoyed an evening of pickleball challenges, including a fun match with Mr. AJ Bartlett, bringing both athletes and pickleball lovers together for a night of competition and camaraderie. The event celebrated the introduction of DIADEM's high-performance pickleball gear to Malaysia, reinforcing the brand’s mission to grow the pickleball community in the region.
